'Delivery driver insists on delivering not-my-food': Delivery driver won't take no for an answer with person who didn't order any food

Food delivery is one of those great modern inventions that's only getting better over time. In decades past, you could order a pizza or some Chinese food over the phone. But these days, you can order almost anything and get it delivered to your house with just a few taps on your phone. 

This kind of technology has opened up a world of possibilities for the average person. Instead of having a few options to choose from, nearly every restaurant is on the food delivery apps, including fast food places and some supermarkets. These delivery people stay busy with orders from restaurants all over. They might pick up a delivery for Thai food, then a ramen spot, then a fast-food burger joint, and then deliver them. 

Maybe that's why this delivery dude got so confused by his orders. U/NinjaWolfess shared their story of malicious compliance when they received the wrong food order. It's a win-win: their driver got to take off with haste after dropping the food, and this person got a delectable meal. The only loser here is the person who was actually supposed to get that food, and presumably got a whole different order instead (or no food, which would be even worse). 

Next up, this gas station employee's boss directed them to focus their efforts on putting away the weekly delivery, so the employee agreed to do only that.

    guess, show up at the delivery address to pick up their order. I've read a couple malicious compliance stories where the delivery guy just says " ☐☐" and delivers to the address listed on the order. Apparently, if the wrong address is not their fault, they still get paid.

About an hour later my friend calls me asking why I sent him pizza. Apparently after ordering pizza at his place a few weeks prior I never fixed my address in the app. :(

    We get the other family's deliveries quite a bit - and it's often from the same restaurants from which we order as well, so the drivers get confused.
